DON WREGE AS OZZY OSBOURNE ON THE JENNY JONES SHOW SEPT. 2002

My
buddy Peter Banks
turned Jenny Jones onto my Ozzy character and they have had me on the show twice.
This is the first appearance, inexplicably on a show whose theme was "Obsessed
with Eminem," which I assure you
I am not. But I hadn't been to Chicago in years, had never seen The Jenny Jones
Show and it sounded like fun.
It was. My segment began with a video vignette of "Ozzy" trying to
get a television remote control to work, cursing it,
yelling for Jack, then yelling at the dog for pissing on the carpet. There was
a lot of yelling.
Before we went in front of the cameras we were told to expect the audience to
attack us. The fake Eminems were
torn apart. I worked it out with the producer (Jim) and the sound guy that if
they gave me any trouble I'd moon 'em.
Luckily for all involved this wasn't necessary. "Ozzy" was so well
received they asked me to come back for another
show two and a half weeks later.
I was astounded at how hard everyone on the show works, Jenny included. It was a lot of fun.
